Born and raised in Leeds, 30 miles north of Joe Cocker’s home town of Sheffield, Jason paid his musical dues in the ’80s in the same working men’s clubs and pubs that Joe sang in during the 1960s. He has worked as a singer/songwriter and guitarist ever since his school days, pausing only for a few years as a morning jock on Laguna Beach, CA’s local radio station.

In the summer of 2013, singer Erich Schneider and lead guitarist Cary Park had just finished playing “American Girl” by request, when Cary turned to Erich and said “you could be Tom Petty!” The rest of the band, Jon, Alex, and Chris, were on board from the start. We dig Pearl Jam and their music so we started a band to pay tribute to them. We still play all the hits, but wanted people to hear some of the great deep cuts they wrote and are still writing. Righteous & the Wicked (LAʼs tribute to Red Hot Chili Peppers) formed in 2015 when longtime friends & big fans of RHCP decided to do a tribute using the wardrobe, style & energy of the Red Hot Chili Peppers live. Coming from different local and national touring acts gave the guys the true experience & passion to bring this project to life. Since their inception, theyʼve expanded while playing many of the venues/casinos on the tribute circuit. Their goal is to bring the fans of RHCP a high end live show that will give them the next best thing & wanting more.

Total Distortion was formed to pay homage to Social Distortion, one of America's first 1970s punk rock bands. Based in San Diego, Total Distortion was started by Don Vercelli, a singer with a voice that is eerily similar to that of Social D front man Mike Ness. Backed by his fellow band members Chris Cunningham, Shawn Barry and Angel Elias, Vercelli has led Total Distortion onstage to pay homage to Social D in venues throughout California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas.
