JUST PRETENDING is a Southern California based band playing tribute to the legendary rock group The Pretenders. Life-long friends who have been playing music for over thirty-five years formed JUST PRETENDING to perform live the iconic hits recorded by The Pretenders over the decades. Performing hits such as “The Wait,” “Tattooed Love Boys,” “Precious,” “Don’t Get Me Wrong,” “Talk of the Town” and “Back on the Chain Gang” and “I’ll Stand By You,” “My City Was Gone,” to name only a few. The mission of JUST PRETENDING is to capture the spirit and attitude of the music created by Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders and bring it to audiences in an energetic performance.
