Band story and booking context
The purpose of a tribute band is to let a new generation experience the sights and sounds of the past, a moment in time that the original artist either can't or will not give a present day audience. If you were not able to experience a “The Cure” concert in the 1980's, you can now re-live one of the most exciting and influential acts of the decade by attending a performance by The Cured – The 1980's “The Cure” Experience.
The Cured is a Southern California-based tribute to The Cure, presenting a true-to-era 1989 Cure concert with costumes, lights, effects, and songs. The band has completed tours across the USA and abroad, with performances at House of Blues locations, the Universal (Gibson) Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, NorVa, The National, Highline Ballroom, and The Abbey. The Cured performs for corporate events, festivals, weddings, and 80s parties.
