Since 2014, The Amor Prohibido Band has dominated America with more sold out shows than any other tribute Band.
Amor Prohibido Band is a seven-musician tribute to Selena, performing her music with visual and vocal accuracy. The band has played together for over six years and has performed since 2014, with more sold-out shows than any other tribute band, according to its profile. Fronted by Nira Perez, the group recreates Selena’s 90s-era sound, mannerisms, and look, with a voice and appearance fans describe as remarkably close to Selena’s. The band delivers the music and feel of Selena’s original fronted lineup.
