According to the old idiom, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but some subjects worthy of flattery are not so easily imitated, and in the age of the tribute band, many a giant of the American songbook goes without authentic tribute simply because the original article set the bar a little too high.
Natural Wonder delivers a full-band Stevie Wonder tribute led by Gabriel Bello, a #1 Billboard-ranked vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist. A crack rhythm section and full-fledged horn ensemble support a set spanning Motown-era hits, 1970s favorites, Songs in the Key of Life, “Isn’t She Lovely,” and modern Stevie Wonder material. Since 2012, the band has performed at festivals, private and corporate events, and large venues including House of Blues, B.B. King’s, The Fillmore, The Downtown Cabaret, and Speaking Rock Casino. The show is built around real musicianship rather than backing tracks.

For the all white, and, older musicians, they sounded great. I just wish they had some background vocals as well.”

I bought the tickets to take my Mother out to celebrate Mother's Day. The show started exactly on time and he definitely sang like Stevie Wonder. My mother loved it and I enjoyed it too. My only suggestion would be to remove some of the more obscure Stevie Wonder songs and replace them with more recognizable songs. However, most of the good ones were played and we loved singing along.
