The Legends Revue are Southern California’s original and most authentic Motown and Doo – Wop revue with over 20 years in the San Diego Music scene. Howard Blank, founded The Legends in 1987 and it quickly proved to be San Diego’s favorite oldies showband. Over the years, Howard has invited several area musicians to join him in The Legends including members of Sha Na Na and The Syndicate of Sound. The Legends continue to delight our many fans, and customize their shows from a full evening of Dancing to a thirty minute revue.
The Legends Revue is Southern California’s Motown and Doo-Wop revue, founded by Howard Blank in 1987. The current eight-piece show band features drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, sax, singers, costumes, wigs, and choreography. Their repertoire covers early 1950s–70s Rock ’n’ Roll, including tributes to Tina Turner, Dion, The Supremes, Frank Sinatra, The Marcels, and others. Shows can be customized from a 30-minute revue to a full evening of dancing. The Legends have performed throughout the San Diego music scene and at Southern California casinos, resorts, country clubs, concert series, and other venues.
