Corporate Event Bands

Headliner-grade tribute and cover bands built for the corporate ballroom — clean pacing, branded production, and a single point of contact from RFP to load-out.

Ballroom-ready, brand-safe

Annual meetings, holiday parties, sales kickoffs, client events. Clean-lyric pacing, branded production options. One booking team, transparent pricing, fast quote.

Built for the ballroom

Corporate entertainment is its own discipline. A 60-minute set in a hotel ballroom after the CEO's keynote is not the same animal as a 90-minute festival headliner or a four-hour wedding reception. The room expects clean lyrics, tight transitions, recognizable songs from the first bar, and a band that knows when to pull energy back so a sponsor can speak. Every act on this page has clocked dozens of these rooms and reads them the same way your AV crew does.

Format flexes around your run-of-show. Cocktail hour gets a trio or DJ sub-set that lets your guests talk. Dinner rides underneath conversation. After toasts and awards the band pivots into a 60–75 minute hit reel of radio singles your audience will recognize across age groups. Many of the tributes carry LED walls or scrim systems that can run your brand artwork during walk-in, breaks, and walk-out — a turnkey way to keep the evening on-brand without renting a separate visual rig.

MZ is the booking agency. One team handles your RFP, the hold, the offer, the contract, the advance, and the day-of contact. Single email thread, clean travel quoting, and a fast turn so your planning calendar stays on track. Tell us the date, the venue, and the audience and we will come back with two or three acts that fit.

Atomic Punks

Tribute to Van Halen

New profilePublished Jul 25, 2018

The Atomic Punks are a tribute to early Van Halen, the David Lee Roth era. Formed in 1994, the Atomic Punks have performed well over 2000 shows throughout the United States. Globally know as the Worlds "Greatest" tribute to David Lee Roth era Van Halen, the Atomic Punks have an International following that continues to grow every year. Van Halen themselves have endorsed the Atomic Punks! In his 1997 auto-biography "Crazy from the Heat," Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth referred to the Atomic Punks as "The best tribute to Van Halen EVER!" Dave cemented his admiration and appreciation for the Punks' talents by hiring original axeman Bart Walsh to play guitar on his "DLR Band" tours from 1999-2001. Bart's replacement, Brian Young, recreated Eddie Van Halen's sound and furious guitar playing so precisely, that Dave again looked to the Punks, and took the guitarist out on the road in 2002 for his national tour with fellow ex-Van Halen frontman, Sammy Hagar. Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony has performed sets with the Atomic Punks on three different occasions. In 1997 in Pasadena, CA. he said "I feel like I am back in 1982 performing with the old band!" Anthony joined the band again on stage, at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA on January 31, 2003. He played nine Van Halen classics with the band including, "Runnin' With The Devil," "Hot For Teacher," "Somebody Get Me A Doctor," "Light Up The Sky," "You Really Got Me," "Panama," "Bottoms Up!," "Mean Street," and "On Fire." Nationally syndicated radio host Howard Stern stated on his show, "The Atomic Punks become Van Halen. It's the total experience, they do Van Halen better than Van Halen themselves!" Atomic Punks fans boast that Brian's recreation of David Lee Roth's live persona is so uncanny, it must be witnessed to be believed. From Dave's trademark costumes, to his signature scream and unique vocal delivery, Brian does Dave proud as the ultimate tribute to one of rock's greatest frontmen. Current guitarist Lance Turner recreates Eddie Van Halen's classic guitar sound, playing every riff and solo with as much energy and technique as Edward himself, while capturing all of the enthusiasm and flash of Ed's engaging live personality. Original Punks members, Joe Lester (bass), and Scott Patterson (drums), make up a rhythm section that is unmatched by any other Tribute, providing the same rock-solid foundation and pulse for Lance and Brian as Van Halen's own Michael Anthony and Alex Van Halen did for Eddie and Dave. Joe and Lance also help add all the signature backing vocals to the early Van Halen masterpieces they play. There is one important point the band always makes clear at their shows. The Atomic Punks don't think they are Van Halen, they simply love to play old Van Halen and it shows in their amazingly realistic, power-packed stage show. Anyone can go out and have a costume made and try and replicate the look, but no Van Halen tribute band captures the note for note performance and feel of an old VH show like the Atomic Punks. If you love vintage Van Halen, and wish you could experience and relive the energy the "Mighty" VH created with "Diamond" Dave behind the mic, you do not want to miss the Atomic Punks. They are the ultimate tribute to early Van Halen!

Corporate buyer FAQ

What format works best for a corporate event?
A 60-minute hit reel after dinner is the most common ask — high-recognition songs, tight transitions, no deep cuts. For longer evenings we will pair a quieter trio or DJ-style sub-set for cocktails and dinner with full band sets after toasts and awards. Tell us the run-of-show and we will fit the format.
Can the band stay clean and read the room?
Yes — this is the table-stakes ask for corporate work. Every act on this page is comped against clean-lyric performance, professional load-in/out behavior, and pacing that respects awards, speeches, and brand moments. We will brief the band on tone and any do-not-play list at advance.
Branded production or company logo on stage?
Many of the tributes ship with their own LED walls or scrim systems that can run your company artwork during walk-in, breaks, and walk-out. We will route artwork specs to the act's tech lead and confirm what plays cleanly on their rig before the show.
What about travel for off-site or destination events?
Corporate buyers regularly fly bands to resort destinations, conference venues, and incentive trips. We quote travel up front in the offer — flights, ground, lodging, per diem — so there are no surprises on the final invoice. Most acts are comfortable with 1–3 night runs and have current passports for international dates.
How early should we book a corporate band?
Q4 (October–December) is the heaviest corporate window — book 6–9 months out for prime weekend dates in that range. Sales kickoffs (Q1) and annual meetings book 60–180 days ahead. If your date is tight, call us and we will work the calendar same-day.

Don't see the right band? Tell us the date, the venue, the audience, and a target budget — our booking team will source the match and quote it fast.
