In this high-energy, southern rock review, Skynyrd & Frynds combine the southern vocal stylings of Ronnie Van Zant with the dual guitar-slinging replication of Southern Rock mega-hits such as ‘Sweet Home Alabama’, ‘Ramblin’ Man’ and of course, the immortal ‘Free Bird’.
Skynyrd & Frynds is an eight-piece Southern rock tribute built around Ronnie Van Zant-style vocals, dual guitar work, and songs including Sweet Home Alabama, Ramblin’ Man, and Free Bird. The band recreates the sound and visual feel of a real-life ’70s Southern rock show. Skynyrd & Frynds has been featured on AXS-TV’s The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands, performed at Epcot Center in Florida as SouthBound and Company, and traveled around the United States.
