Slip-Not is an American Slipknot tribute band from Springfield, Massachusetts, founded in 2006 by guitarist Marc Guyette and bassist Bill Brault. Launched as an experiment at its first show, the band continued after a strong crowd response and lineup changes. Slip-Not is known for spot-on sound, high energy, an entertaining stage show, and detailed costumes and masks. The band can arrange either an earlier Slipknot presentation from before Paul Gray’s passing or a newer lineup featuring updated drums, bass, masks, and suits.

“I just went to see a band called Slip-not here in western Massachusetts. They were pretty entertaining. They played most of the typical songs that the knot plays. They also played gematria and devil in i. Their playing was great, not perfect obviously , but they were pretty faithful to the vibe of slipknot as well. Accurate masks, interestingly enough the bassist and drummer had the new generic masks. It was a fun show.”
