Ridin' The Storm Out

Bio

Ridin’ The Storm Out is an REO Speedwagon tribute formed in 2017 by guitarist and founding member Rick Hunter. In the late ’90s, Hunter performed with REO founding guitarist Gary Richrath for almost three years. After playing in tribute bands since 2002, Hunter formed the band to celebrate Richrath’s contribution to music history and REO’s hit songs. The lineup brings together young multi-talented musicians and seasoned players, with a focus on REO’s signature vocal harmonies and musical style. The band’s name comes from REO’s first hit in the mid-’70s, “Ridin’ The Storm Out.”
