The Papas & Mamas are a loving tribute to The Mamas & the Papas, recreating the musical chemistry and greatest hits of the original 1960s rock band. Their performance features tight four-part harmonies, close physical resemblance, and light pop arrangements. Sherry Land-Hicks performs as Mama Cass Elliot, Mike Butler as Denny Doherty, Natalie Wilde as Michelle Phillips, and Randy Ray Mitchell as John Phillips. From California Dreaming to the group’s other signature songs, the evening recalls the sweet Southern California pop scene of the mid-to-late 1960s.
