Nerd Halen is a Van Halen tribute led by actor, comedian and host Hal Sparks, with guitarist Caleb Rapoport. The show combines high-energy Van Halen music with nerdy intellectual comedy and laugh-out-loud moments, while maintaining a serious commitment to the original recordings. Victor Broden handles bass, musical direction and Van Halen high harmonies, while Jeff Page plays the Alex Van Halen drum parts. The result is a comedy-driven rock show built around musical replication and a clear Van Halen focus.
