Growing up in the South, there are a few things you are born and raised to love! Football, the great outdoors, and Hank Williams Jr!

We were raised on the southern rocking country sounds of Family Tradition, Country Boy Can Survive, Born to Boogie, My Name is Bocephus, and all the other great songs we play tribute to night in and night out. Based out of Dallas, Texas, the Sons of Bocephus, aka the SOB’s, have taken their Authentic Hank Jr Tribute Show to 13 States since 2019.

In 2021, the SOB’s were named “Tribute Band of the Year” at the Josie Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. The JMA’s are the world’s largest independent music awards show.  Since then, we have been nominated and/or won a plethora of awards including:
