Total Distortion  a tribute to
Band Bio

Total Distortion was formed to pay homage to Social Distortion, one of America's first 1970s punk rock bands. Based in San Diego, Total Distortion was the brain child of Don Vercelli, a singer with a voice that is eerily similar to that of Social D front man Mike Ness. Backed by his fellow band members Ken Najbert, Kirk Lightfoot and Greg Grmolyes, Vercelli has led Total Distortion onstage to pay homage to Social D in venues throughout California, Nevada and Texas. Total Distortion has over 50 of Social D songs in their repertoire, and can deliver up to 3 hours of non-stop entertainment, including songs from 1983’s Mommy’s Little Monster all the way up to the latest Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes. Total D also tailors performances to suit any venue or function -- from clubs, theaters, fairs, Funerals and casinos to museums and corporate events.
