#1 Tribute Band Agency on the Planet

How to Book Talent

Tell us about your event - Determine the date, venue, attendance, age range of the guests and the type of entertainment you are looking for. First browse or acts, if you don't see what you are looking for on this web site then tell us what you are looking for. We retain a large database of over 700 acts all over the United States and other countries.

Determine a budget - What is your budget for the entire show? Remember to include the price of the act, transportation, accommodations, catering, artist rider requirements, insurance, technical production, and labor. Onsite producer for this show is available for an additional fee.

National artists price range - Our Tribute and cover acts generally range in price from $2,500 to $10,000 per show. This is performance fee only.

Make an offer - Once you have selected your entertainment, you will fax or email a firm offer for the act. When the offer is delivered to representative of the act, it is their decision whether or not to accept your terms and confirm your date.
Contract accepted - Once you have made this signed offer in writing, and it is accepted by the acts' representatives, you have bought an act and all parties are legally committed.

Provide a deposit - After the artist has accepted your offer, a contract is issued and a deposit is due. Music Zirconia will review that contract in detail with you and help you make any changes that seem reasonable and appropriate.
Payment schedule - The balance of the artist fees are due prior to the performance.

Getting started - Call Music Zirconia at 858-598-7311 or fill out our online form which will assist us in determining your needs.

The surrounding costs of doing any show, such as sound, stage lighting, internal ground transportation labor, accommodations, and artist rider requirements should be discussed as you go forward. We can determine these cost as we receive more information about your specific event. These can vary some from act to act.

After establishing in your group or organization who the actual buyer would be and who would be signing the artists contract, we would fax you a form that we would use to make an offer to the act. Once the offer is in the acts' hands, it is their decision whether or not to accept your terms and confirm your date. It is important for you to understand that once you have made this signed offer in writing, and they accept it as is, you have bought an act. This normally can take ten days to two weeks, but can take longer depending on the artist. If the procedure begins to take longer than you are comfortable with, you can put in a reasonable deadline for an answer (48-72 hours is typical) and if they don't respond in that time, you can withdraw the offer and move on to another artist. Another way the procedure ends is if the artist counters your offer and you decide not to pay the new amount.

Once you and the artist have come to terms, a contract is issued and a deposit is due. We will review that contract in detail with you and help you make any changes that seem reasonable and appropriate. After the acts management has reviewed and hopefully agreed to your changes (if any), you will receive an artist-singed contract back for your files.
